It’s just a phrase

Below are phrases I constantly use. I enjoy phrases like these so much and I’m so used to saying it that its just part of my expression.

In no specific order:

  • Cuts no ice
  • Wat weet n mol van kaas? (what does a mole know about cheese?)
  • Same difference
  • If not, why not?
  • I don’t know him from Adam/ I don’t know her from a bar of soap
  • Whatever
  • Hectic Bananas
  • Cooler bags
  • Fo sheezy/Fo shizzle
  • First of all…. secondly… and another thing is this…

There are probably more I can’t think of right now but I’d love to learn more phrases to throw around.

  1. I have a a lot of phrases that I use. Although now off the top of my head it is difficult to remember which ones I say regularly.

  2. I use them without thinking but most of all I need them, like what would replace- “It cuts no ice”, how would I close an argument if I didn’t use this phrase? I’m 99.9% guaranteed the last word. Its not like the person (*cough* my husband) would turn around and say, ” it does cut ice, it does!” without looking quite ridiculous. I love it 🙂
